Irene Holmgren brings more than 20 years of experience to her practice of interior design and home renovation. Specializing in the creation of considered, beautiful and functional spaces, she is adept at blending diverse influences. Her own personal passion for fine art and design is what inspires her to create the home of her clients’ dreams. What truly sets Irene and her process apart is her deep knowledge of construction and her willingness to tackle challenging structural issues in the home. Her collaborative mindset, can-do attitude and commitment to the vision of her clients makes her an invaluable asset to any project.

Interior Design Renovation (exterior and interior) circulation refinement, additions, specializing in kitchen design and procurement of cabinetry, paint and finish selection, furnishing, flooring, window treatments, staging, editing and accessory selection.
Process
Irene begins each project with an on-site architectural review where she carefully assesses the space and addresses the goals of the client. From this discussion a scope of work, budget and timeline are proposed. A letter of Agreement is signed, and the design plan is undertaken. An architect of record will be included whenever it is required but Irene and her team will address space-planning, room layout and facets of interior architecture (built-ins, cabinetry, lighting, etc.). Work is overseen by Irene Holmgren Design.
