A special treat is when Books and Greetings visits schools with noted authors. And, the store has achieved national notoriety being featured on TV many times with various authors including four times on “Housewives of New Jersey.” The TV show “What would you do?” was filmed in the store with owner Kenny appearing on camera.
Owner Kenny Sarfin says, “Books and Greetings has been in New Jersey since July of 2007. Having moved from Manhattan after forty years from a retail location in the Garment Center, which my parents opened and loved every day. I have been a bookseller since graduating from the University of Colorado 50 years ago. My motto is: We sell books the old-fashioned way, we read them and treat every customer the way I like to be treated.” Kenny stated, “Customers love the experience of shopping with us or attending one of our book signings and hope you do as well.
